Delivery Policy
Delivery is FREE on orders over £20.00 to England , Wales and Central Scotland . For orders of £19.99 or less a £2.00 (inc. VAT, £1.67 exc. VAT) delivery charge will be charged for delivery anywhere in the UK. All orders are dispatched within 48 hours. We ship to other countries "See European Shipments" for an additional £12.00 (inc. VAT, £10.00 exc. VAT) per order.
Parcel Delivery Information (DPD) Shipments If you need to track your order without the e mail confirmation then you can visit www.dpd.co.uk and then click on the "tracking", trace your parcel by entering your post code and order number. What if I am not In on the Delivery Day ? A signature will be required on delivery ! If you are unable to be available to receive your parcel , then DPD drivers will normally try a next door neigbour or leave you a contact card to re-arrange the delivery. The goods will be held at the local delivery depot, if you do not make contact with the local depot , then they will try to deliver the parcel again , if for any reason they are not able to make the delivery on the second attempt then the parcel will be returned back to our warehouse. we will have to make a charge for the third delivery attempt . Can I have the goods delivered elsewhere ? When you confirm your order on our website you will have an option to select a different "delivery address" , as the parcel will require a signature then it does make sense to have it delivered to an address where you know someone will be available to sign for it , this can also be a work address. If you change your mind after you have ordered your Smartcandles then please Contact Us or phone our office on 01753 621777. However we do need to know ASAP prior to shipping out the parcel. European - Non European shipments We ship to the following other countries* for an additional £12.00 (inc. VAT, £10.00 exc. VAT) per order. * For Norway there is an additional charge of £15.00 due to the import requirements. Certain restrictions can apply to Cyprus and we have to treat each order on a case by case basis due to the different shipping costs , we will confirm these prior to shipping. Northern Ireland Austria Finland Malta Spain SmartCandle ship all parcels to the countries listed above by DPD courier. The normal transit time is 2-5 days for shipments sent outside the UK depending on the country the service is a "Door to Door" service.the shipment is trackable via the internet, We can ship to destinations that are not included on the list of countries above, please e-mail us, or use the contact us form, to request a quotation. Please remember for security and proof of delivery all shipments that are sent by Smartcandle will require a "signed for" delivery if for any reason you are unable to be available to accept your delivery it may be a good suggestion, to have your smartcandles delivered to a work address or ensure that someone else is available to accept the delivery. EXPRESS ORDERS - England , Wales and Central Scotland For Express orders these need to be placed prior to 2pm on a Monday - Friday they will be shipped for delivery the next day,and normally delivered between 8am -5pm DPD Express Next day service will be used for this service. Pre Noon , Pre 10am deliveries UK , Wales , Central Scotland For PRIORITY shipments we can deliver on a "Next Day" Pre-noon or Pre 10am service, if this is required please call our office for a quote on 01753 621777 or you can fax order details on 01753 621780. for local deliveries within a radius of 20 miles from our office in Windsor we can most times offer a same day delivery by Scarlet couriers. SmartCandle is based near Windsor in the UK which is about 15 minutes away from Heathrow Airport. If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase of SmartCandles, then you are able to return them to us within 14 days of purchase.The Smartcandles should be returned unused in there original packaging. please include a copy of your original order details, to enable us to credit your payment card. All of our next day deliveries are undertaken by DPD logistics , when your order is shipped you will receive a confirmation e mail with your tracking link to the DPD website. To check on the progress you can simply click on the link and it will enable you to check the progress of your order.

For UK shipments we try to ship orders on the same day as they are placed,(excluding Saturday & Sunday) orders placed over the weekend are shipped on Monday.
Small Items & Small Orders (UK) Royal Mail
For small items these are sent by Royal Mail signed delivery (normal expected delivery time 1-3 days depending on location in the UK, and the season.
Delivery to British Forces Post office (BFPO) is possible on small item orders by Royal Mail.
Smartcandle will normally send orders out by Royal Mail if they weigh less than 1 Kilo, this will still be sent by recorded delivery and will still need to be signed for. the order will be shipped on the next working day after the order has been placed.
